Lymphatic Massage

Thank you for choosing Belle Medical and our providers as your partner for fat removal.  We want to do all we can to help you maximize your results and to help your body heal as quickly as possible. Light Pressure Massage

Lymphatic massage uses very light pressure. The lymphatic system is near the outer layer of skin, and only needs five ounces of pressure to be accessed - that's the equivalent of placing a nickel on the skin. When massaging, use light pressure, not deep tissue. Imagine light brushing or tickling of the skin. Different areas will determine what direction you will be massaging.

The Lymphatic System

The purpose of lymphatic massage after your procedure is to stimulate the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is in charge of removing toxins, fluid, and waste from the body. The lymphatic system needs to be "turned on" in order to remove toxins and fluid from the body. We turn on this system by massaging, walking, and light exercise of the body.
